A Subtle Imbalance. A mother's description of her child's treatment.

I was recently sent this beautiful testimonial from the mother of a child I treated.

It felt important to us both to maintain the child’s confidentiality, so we have not used his name.

I love the way it shows the subtle discomforts a child can experience and that mothers are often aware of. It is tempting to assume that it is part of the child’s nature, or that they will grow out of it, but how exciting to discover that there is simple help that can make life comfortable again for the child.

“Vivien recently did some sessions with my little boy after I felt he was just a little bit out of sync. Many of his emotions were heightened and I just wanted to help bring him back to a place of balance. So many people had recommended Vivien Ray to me giving me accounts of how she had helped their child so I had no hesitation getting in touch.

Vivien welcomed us into her lovely cosy treatment room and instantly built a good rapport with my little fella. He was inquisitive about the things in her space and she kindly and patiently gave him all her attention and answered his questions.

He helped himself to her toys and sat on the couch in between myself and Viv where she carried out her treatment mainly touching his head. forehead and back whilst I read him some stories.

I was so surprised by just how responsive my boy was to Vivien carrying out her treatment only just having met her and how quickly Vivien was able to help him feel relaxed and comfortable in this new space.

Vivien was so respectful of my son’s wishes and she picked up on his subtle body movements suggesting when he was not so happy to be touched in certain places. At these moments she moved away and place her hand on a different spot only returning when she felt he was happy.

I felt like Vivien really understood me when I explained that I felt there was a subtle imbalance present and I so was so grateful to have her support in helping my little boy. His sessions with Vivien soon became something my boy looked forward to and only within a short period of time I noticed differences in my little boy’s reactions. I felt like Vivien had supported him during a transitional period he was already going through which was just wonderful, helping to bring him back to himself.”
